I'm retired and love pastel painting both at workshops and plein air. My primary interest is in portraits and native american portraiture.
All my life I've had 'the urge' to draw, particularly faces. After 30 years in the Graphic Arts Industry, performing almost every type of position from estimator to press operator to sales and having my own graphics business I've retired to do what I want.... Painting!!
Training includes courses at Northeastern University in Massachusetts, several workshops and a tremendous amount of 'self-education'.
I've had several awards from the NM Veterans Art Show, NM State Fair and more.
I am now enjoying the special 'sky' and artists opportunities in Albuquerque, NM,
